- Print the letter. The coloring page works well: your child colors it first, then it goes into hiding.
- While nobody is looking, hide it in something that starts with its sound: under the lamp, in a lunchbox, or among the leaves of a plant.
- Say the sound together, as the book does: “l, l, l... Where can l be?” When your child finds it, they trace it with a finger and shout “Got you, little l!”

Good to know
l, I or 1?
In many books, a small l, a capital I and the number 1 look almost the same: one straight line.
On our sheets the capital I has a short line across the top and the bottom, so the three are easier to tell apart. The small l is just the tall line.

Every letter page has a code: scan it with a phone or tablet and the letter comes into your room.
