The dragon of 7
Lazy Ladon, a great old dragon who hates math, has locked up the ten dragons that guard the times tables. Aris guards the 7s. One level is one answer of the table, and a voice says it while you play.

The dragon of 7
Free Aris
Aris is asleep in a cage. Every level you finish puts on one light. Five lights wake the padlock.
Push the two numbers and the answer onto their places. Arrow keys on a computer, swipe on a phone or tablet. A gold star means you did it without help.
Levels 6 to 10 open with the book. That is where Aris gets the fire back and steps into your room. The book comes out in November 2026.

The hard half is in the book
The first five answers of a table are the easy half. The book opens levels 6 to 10 of every table, gives Aris the fire back, and lets the dragon step into your room through a phone or tablet. It also has every trick.
The dragon's name
Short for Aristaeus
Each of the ten dragons carries the name of a Greek mathematician. Aristaeus the Elder lived about 2,300 years ago and wrote about the curves you get when you slice a cone.
The next table
We learn them in this order
Before this one comes the 8 times table. After it, the 3 times table. See all ten dragons, or every table at once on the multiplication chart.
Questions
Grown-ups ask
- What is the 7 times table?
- 1 × 7 = 7, 2 × 7 = 14, 3 × 7 = 21, 4 × 7 = 28, 5 × 7 = 35, 6 × 7 = 42, 7 × 7 = 49, 8 × 7 = 56, 9 × 7 = 63, 10 × 7 = 70. Tap any row at the top of this page and you'll hear it said aloud.
- What is the trick for the 7 times table?
- The numbers in orange are the ones you already know from earlier times tables. Notice that only a few numbers are left to learn!
- How many facts in the 7 times table are really new?
- Four, if the tables are learned in our order (10, 5, 2, 4, 8, 7, 3, 6, 9 and 11): 3 × 7 = 21, 6 × 7 = 42, 7 × 7 = 49 and 9 × 7 = 63. The other rows turned up in earlier tables.
- How does the 7 times table game work?
- Each level is one fact. Your child rolls a green cube and pushes the two numbers and the answer onto their places, while a voice says the fact. After five levels a padlock asks four of the facts with a number missing, and the dragon comes out of the cage. Levels 1 to 5 are free. Levels 6 to 10 open with the book, which comes out in November 2026. It needs no account and no app.
