Questions

Grown-ups ask

Are these Christmas coloring pages free?

Yes, all 42 of them, to print at home or in a classroom, with no sign-up. If you'd like every page in one file, leave your email in the box on this page and we'll send the pack.

How do I print a coloring page?

Press US Letter or A4 under the picture and print the PDF at 100%, or "Actual size". Each picture is one page. Plain printer paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers or paint, a heavier paper stops the color soaking through.

Which pages suit which age?

The pictures with big shapes (Santa's hat, the candy cane, the snowman, the balloon) suit ages 3 and up. Santa, the reindeer and the ornaments have more small parts, for about 5 and up. The 12 scenes of the story are busy pages, best from about 6 to 8.

Can my child color on a phone or tablet?

Yes, with Color on screen at the top of this page. It works with a finger on any phone or tablet, nothing is saved or sent, and the finished picture can be saved or printed.

What is The Christmas Secret?

It's our own Christmas Eve picture book for ages 3 to 7. A girl sees Santa's red balloon over the Golden Mountains and runs after it, all the way to a secret Christmas circus. The 12 story pictures here are the book's own scenes, drawn as coloring pages.

Can I use them in my classroom?

Of course. Put Color on screen up on the board and let the class choose the colors, or print one page per child. The busy story scenes keep an older class going longest.
