Say it: tie-RAN-oh-SORE-us rex. The name means “tyrant lizard king”. "Rex" is Latin for king.

Tyrannosaurus rex was so big and strong, it could eat up to 230 kilograms (507 pounds) of meat and bones in one bite!

The most complete T. rex ever found is called SUE. SUE was found in South Dakota in 1990 and lived to be about 28 years old.
