A worksheet for each times table

One PDF for each table, from 1 to 12. A sheet has 48 sums in three parts: the table in order, the same table mixed up, and twelve sums with a number missing, which is a first step towards division. The answers are on page 2. The sheets are black and white, so they go easy on the ink.

Free for home and classroom use. To pass them on, please share the link to this page and not the file.

Two or three tables on one page

Mixed times tables worksheets

Five sheets in the order our book teaches the tables. They are for the day a table works on its own and you want to know if it still works with another one next to it. Each sheet has 48 sums, the last twelve with a number missing, and its answers on page 2.

  • The 10 and 5 times tables, mixed

The first two tables in our order. You can see their answers coming: they end in 0, or in 5 and 0.

In the classroom

For teachers

  • No sign-up

Nobody has to log in, and that goes for the children too. Nothing they type or tick leaves the laptop.

  • It runs in the browser

So it works on school laptops and on a phone or tablet, and there is nothing to install or to ask the IT person for.

  • Free for the classroom

Print as many copies as you need, this year and next. To pass a sheet on to another teacher, share the link and not the file.

  • Every sheet has a number

It sits in the address of the page. Put that link in your lesson plan and it gives the SAME sheet next week, answers included. Press the button again for a different one.

Questions

Grown-ups ask

Is the multiplication worksheet generator free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no limit on how many sheets you make. Each sheet is put together in your own browser, so nothing about you or your class is sent to us. The only thing we print on it is the address of this page, in small type at the foot.
Do the worksheets come with answers?
Every one of them. A sheet from the maker prints as two pages: the sums, then the same sums with every blank filled in. The ready PDFs have their answers on the last page.
How do I print the same worksheet again?
Keep the address of the page. When you make a sheet, its number and your choices go into the address, and that address always builds the same sheet with the same answers. Use the Copy the link button, or bookmark the page.
What does "only the new facts" mean?
Up to 10 × 10 there are 100 sums, but only 45 of them are new if you learn the tables in the order our book uses: 10, 5, 2, 4, 8, 7, 3, 6, 9, 11. The 1s are the number itself, and 3 × 8 is the same fact as 8 × 3. With the box ticked, a sheet for the 8s asks only 3 × 8, 6 × 8, 7 × 8, 8 × 8 and 9 × 8.
Which times tables worksheet should we start with?
The 10s, then the 5s and the 2s. That is where our book starts, because you can see how those answers work: they end in 0, they end in 5 or 0, and they are doubles. The first of the mixed sheets puts the 10s and the 5s together.
How many sums should a multiplication worksheet have?
The maker offers 20, 30, 40 and 60. Twenty leaves big lines to write on. Sixty fills the page in three columns and suits a child who knows the table and wants to get faster. If a full page makes your child's shoulders drop, print the short one.
Do the worksheets print on A4 and on US Letter?
Both. Every ready PDF comes in the two sizes, and the A4 files are headed "times table practice sheet", which is the name used in the UK. A sheet from the maker is laid out to fit either paper, so your printer's own setting decides.

Our own book

For getting the answers in

For grown-ups · it comes out in November 2026

A worksheet finds the answers that are still missing. Our times tables book is for getting them in. Each table has its own blackboard with the answers you already know in orange, so a child sees how few are left, and each table comes with a trick or two.

One email when the book is out, and nothing else. We don't add you to a newsletter. Privacy.
