Gingerbread man coloring pages

Gingerbread people smell freshly baked, in our story anyway. These ones only need coloring.

A gingerbread man with a bow tie, a gingerbread boy and girl holding hands, a gingerbread house with candy canes by the door, and a scene from our book.

Ideas while you color

  • Icing first

Color the icing lines white or pink before the brown, so they stay bright.

  • Decorate a real one

Bake gingerbread people, then hand round the coloring page as the plan. Whoever sticks to it gets the first one.

How to draw a gingerbread man: Draw him yourself: he's mostly one smooth line.

Questions

Grown-ups ask

What colors do I need for a gingerbread man?

A light brown or orange for the cookie, white for the icing, and anything you like for the buttons and the bow tie. Ours has blue buttons.

How do I print these coloring pages?

Press US Letter or A4 under a picture and print the PDF at 100%, or "Actual size". Each picture is one page, free, with no sign-up. Every Christmas coloring page in one file comes by email, from the box on this page.

Can my child color them on a phone or tablet?

Yes, at the top of this page, with a finger. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere, and Save the picture keeps a copy on your device.

Can I print them for my class?

Yes, as many copies as your class needs. The cards say which ages each picture suits, so a mixed class can take one each.
