Reindeer coloring pages

Dancer is the one reindeer in our book, and he dances whenever nobody is looking.

Dancer is one of Santa's eight reindeer. Here he stands in his harness with its little bell, and leaps through the stars. Print them, or color them here on a phone or tablet.

Ideas while you color

  • Real reindeer colors

Real reindeer are brown and gray with a creamy white neck. Their noses are dark, and none of them glow.

  • Learn the eight

Color Dancer while you say the names of all eight reindeer in order. There's a rhyme that helps.

Santa's reindeer names: All eight in order, with our rhyme and a poster.

Questions

Grown-ups ask

Which reindeer is this?

Dancer, one of the eight reindeer in the 1823 poem A Visit from St. Nicholas, and the reindeer of our picture book. His nose is a plain reindeer nose, so this isn't Rudolph.

How do I print these coloring pages?

Press US Letter or A4 under a picture and print the PDF at 100%, or "Actual size". Each picture is one page, free, with no sign-up. Every Christmas coloring page in one file comes by email, from the box on this page.

Can my child color them on a phone or tablet?

Yes, at the top of this page, with a finger. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere, and Save the picture keeps a copy on your device.

Can I print them for my class?

Yes, as many copies as your class needs. The cards say which ages each picture suits, so a mixed class can take one each.
